1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of carolascakespuntacana.com and any order you place with Carola's Cakes Punta Cana ("Carola's Cakes", "we", "us"), a custom cake bakery in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Website use
This website is informational. It shows our cakes, flavors, delivery areas and how to contact us; it does not sell products online. All photos, cake designs, texts and logos on this website belong to Carola's Cakes and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
3. Orders
All orders are arranged and confirmed on WhatsApp (+1 829 471 6519). An order is confirmed only when we have agreed on the design, date, delivery location and payment. Prices and availability are given in a personal quote for each order.
4. Payments
To reserve your date we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total. The remaining 50% is paid in cash on delivery day. The deposit can be sent through the international methods listed on our Payment methods page (Western Union, MoneyGram, Xoom, Remitly and Ría), or by local bank transfer if you are in the Dominican Republic. The exact amount is confirmed on WhatsApp before you send any payment. Please never send a payment before confirming your order with us.
5. Changes and cancellations
- Cancellations must be requested at least 4 days before the delivery date and must be based on a verifiable reason, such as a cancelled flight or force majeure (for example, an accident).
- Once production of your order has started, the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, because it covers the materials and the time already dedicated to your order.
- Instead of cancelling, you can ask to move your order to a different date or change the delivery date, with prior notice.
- All changes and cancellations are handled and confirmed on WhatsApp.
6. Delivery
We deliver to resorts and other locations in Punta Cana. You are responsible for giving us correct and complete delivery details (place, date, time and a contact person). Some resorts have their own access rules for outside deliveries; we follow them, and delivery times may depend on them.
7. Allergens
Our products may contain, or may have been in contact with, gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy and other allergens. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary restriction before confirming your order. We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens.
8. Limitation of liability
We take great care with every cake. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by incorrect delivery details, resort access rules, or events beyond our reasonable control, nor for how the product is handled or stored after delivery. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. The terms in effect when your order was confirmed apply to that order.
